The legendary athletes will face off in the ring of REN TV Fight Club Super Series on 27 May in Omsk

On May 27, in Omsk, the Avangard hockey academy will host a boxing evening as part of the REN TV Fight Club Super Series tournament. The TV channel will broadcast the fights live.
The highlight of the evening will be a 10-round clash between Russian first heavyweight division boxer Alexei Papin and sturdy Montenegrin Dylan Prašović. The two strongest athletes that are in champion title contention will take on each other.
Alexey Papin is one of the strongest Russian cruiserweight boxers. 13 wins, one loss, 12 wins by KO. He is ranked amongst the top 10 strongest boxers of his weight by The Ring, WBC, WBO and BoxRec and is also the Master of Sports of Russia of International Class. Former IBF International cruiserweight champion among the pros. He has had major success as a kickboxer, both as a professional and an amateur: WAKO world champion in 2011 and three-time European champion. He made his professional boxing debut after a remarkable kickboxing career, in 2015, at the age of 27. He was a sparring partner of Grigory Drozd, Dmitry Kudryashov, Alexander Povetkin and Alexander Usik. His only defeat came in 2019 against Ilunga Makabu, the current WBC world champion.
Montenegrin Dylan Prašović is a KO fighter. In 2021, Dylan fought for the world title against British Lawrence Okolie at the WBO. He has done over 100 fights as an amateur and made his professional boxing debut in 2014. Before losing his championship fight, he was heading for a record of 15 wins without defeat, 12 of which were by KO.
Russian fighters Ivan Shtyrkov and Mikhail Mokhnatkin will face off in the second main event.
Ivan Shtyrkov is a bronze medalist of the Russian Sambo Championships. He made his professional debut in MMA in the summer of 2015. Since then he has had 23 fights in MMA (20 wins, 2 losses, 1 draw). During his MMA career he has defeated such legends as Jeff Monson, Antonio Silva, Thiago Silva and Fabio Maldonado. His defeats came against Magomed Ismailov and Yasubi Enomoto when he moved down to the middleweight category once.
Mikhail Mokhnatkin is one of Russia's top combat sambo athletes, the Master of Sport of International Class, three-time national champion and the European and World Champion. Mikhail made his MMA debut 5 years earlier than Shtyrkov, in 2010 and spent 21 fights in MMA (14 wins, 5 losses, 2 draws). He has beaten Valentijn Overeem and Fabio Maldonado in MMA and fought for the Fight Nights league title but lost to the current UFC fighter, Sergey Pavlovic.
Furthermore, Pavel Shulsky, one of Russia's most renowned bare-knuckle fighters, will be in the ring. Pavel represents the Goryachevodsk Cossack community. He has been boxing since childhood and is a master of sport, a six-time champion of the North Caucasus Federal District, a three-time champion of the Ministry of the Interior and a current coach. The fighter will face muscleman and "Russia's Biggest Biceps" titleholder Bruce Khlebnikov, who became popular as a kid and made a name on TV as the boy who dragged aeroplanes and cars, tore notebooks apart with his bare hands, walked through fire and on broken glass. Later on, Khlebnikov set several records on YouTube show called PUNCH TEST, where fighters are tested by punching power and other strength features: Bruce got the highest point for punching power in the show history, having overtaken many extra level fighters: Pavel Shulsky, Zaur Stakhansky, Lendrush Akopyan, Max Novoselov, Evgeny Moryak and many others. He also demonstrated the greatest strength of grip, the most powerful submission lock, as well as the most tonnage of punches in 8 seconds.
Russian renowned boxer Alexey Tishchenko and Venezuelan Nehomar Sermeno, 42, will also be welcomed in the professional ring.
Alexey Tishchenko is a real legend of Russian amateur boxing. He is a Merited Master of Sport of Russia, two-time Olympic champion, world, European and Russian champion. Alexey announced his retirement in 2011, but now, 11 years later, at the age of 37, he is going to debut in the professional ring as part of REN TV Fight Club. After winning the 2006 European Championships, Alexey Tishchenko joined the ranks of fighters who have achieved the unofficial "Grand Slam" of amateur boxing, meaning they won the Olympic Games, the World Championships and the European Championships. It was earlier achieved by Yugoslavian Mate Parlov, Bulgarian boxers Ismail Mustafov and Daniel Petrov-Bozhinov, Henry Maske from the GDR and Russians Oleg Saitov, Alexander Lebzyak and Alexander Povetkin. His rival is Nehomar Andrés Cermeño Febres, an experienced professional boxer from Venezuela now residing in Panama. He has been in the professional ring since 2004, winning 27 fights, losing 8 and drawing 1, and is Former WBA World Champion.
The special musical guest of the evening will be Misha Mavashi, a musician, poet and rapper, whose nickname means " hit in the head".
REN TV viewers can watch the REN TV Fight Club tournament live as early as on 27 May at 22:00 (Moscow) and at 01:00 (Omsk). The channel will prove that boxing can foster people with difficult temperaments.
